Congrats!

You guys and gals ARE the voices behind the conversations here on FlowerDust.net, and I just found out these conversations were nominated for the Collide Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards (theology/ministry blog) for the second year in a row. If you could take a moment and cast your vote, that would rock! There are only TWO women represented in the?nominees – myself and the beautiful Promise Tangeman (who is nominated under the Faith & Arts category.)

You can vote by clicking the button below.?THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!

Speaking of thanks, I’d like to take a moment to thank the wonderful sponsors of FlowerDust.net.

Rockbridge Seminary - You can earn your seminary degree online, and they even have a ministry diploma program if you don’t have an undergrad.

Collision Media – If you’re looking for a friendly and functional website for your church, these are the guys to check out.

Restoring the Soul – They get that ministry can be difficult and offer resources to help. Enjoy some?free audio downloads from Dallas Willard and Peter Scazzero.

If you’re interested in being a sponsor of FlowerDust.net, please send an email to?info@flowerdust.net and we’ll send you our partnership packet which includes statistics and demographics from Fall-Winter 2009.

Check these guys out and tell ‘em thanks for their help in supporting this blog!

  1. My favorite post:

That resonated a lot with me and my feelings at times.

  2. One of my favorites @ flowerdust.net was way back in February. Scared? http://flowerdust.net/2009/02/03/scared/

Not a lot of words, but a HUGE message. Really got me thinking and also got me moving on some things I didn’t need to “sit” on any longer.

Thank you for sharing with the rest of us what God lays on your heart. Looking forward to 2010 like Kyle! :)

  4. The post with your testimony about porn addiction, not because it’s the best lesson I’ve learned from you but because it’s the post that made me stick around to learn more about you and read when I first showed up here.

Thanks for continuing to share with us. You’re an encouragement,

  6. Voted for you Anne, good luck. Keep up the good work. There’s a reason we show up here.

  7. There have been so many! Reviewing them reminded me how much I, as a struggling would-be writer, appreciate what gifts God’s given you for communication and for compassion.

But a single favorite? I think it would be the one where you encouraged us to go for our biggest dream. (Don’t recall the exact title, but believe I replied.)

Do you believe in coincidence? After that blog, two things happened. First, the weather cleared up. No big deal? Well, it had been very rainy for this desert country, and that had kept us out of places we needed to reach. Now we could – and pieces began to almost magically fall into place. Next, friends we hadn’t seen for ten years (who live a thousand miles away) visited us -and got all excited telling us how to set up a business plan for that part of the dream. We’re working on it now.

Did God use your blog to help trigger those good things? I’d surely like to think so.

  8. On a lighter note, I forgot to mention that I was also able to vote for my favorite viral video, “The Muppets sing Bohemian Rhapsody.”
