Some months I'll have 1000, but that's very rare. And yes, unlimited text plans have contributed greatly to this. It's so much easier to just fire off a text than to call a person and break into a 30 minute conversation. Sometimes long conversations are what you're looking for but, more often than not, a simple answer of 160 characters or less will suffice. Plus, texts are good when you happen to live in the one spot in your city that doesn't get good service. A text doesn't drop a call. I’ve been averaging somewhere around 4000-5000 every month.
