today, i heard a commercial for simon mall gift cards making fun of day of the week underwear. i had a pair when i was young, as most seven year olds do. the commercial was saying nobody would ever want day of the week underwear. i have to disagree. usually it is about 2:30 pm when i realize what day it is. if i had this life-changing undergarment, maybe…just maybe…i’d be a little more clued in, a little earlier in the morning.
would you wear them?

absolutely.
Yep. Although with my perfectionistic tendencies, I might obsess over making sure I had the right pair on. On second thought, maybe I don’t need the pressure.
As a kid I never kept them straight with wearing them on the right day…I doubt I would now either! :)
This is just getting too personal, you are making a shy Scotsman blush. In answer, you know what we wear below our kilts, so it would be a bit pointless!
I’d wear them!
I would and I am! :)
I like to wear Wednesday on Monday and all the other wrong days. So I guess that makes it pretty pointless.
I’ve seen this commercial. I laugh every time the bald guy with the hairdryer is shown. HA!
MERRY CHRISTMAS ANNE JACKSON!
How about numbered for every day of the month. That would be much less of a hassle then trying to figure out if it is Monday or Tuesday. Also, I would only have to do laundry once a month.
But what do you do with that poor 31 pair that only gets worn 7 months out of the year. :(
It would make my life much easier each morning. It would save me the hours I put into picking the right boxers for each day…does sarcasm come through in type?
i like the idea of numbered ones – that’s a problem for me all the time too!
my 3 year old daughter has those and i used to try to get the days of the week right every time…i’ve found out after a few accidents that now i just try to keep up with the laundry so that she has ANY underware to wear (mabye it’ll actually happen when she’s “accident free”).:)
have a wonderful Christmas too!
if they sold a 365 pack, I might buy ‘em
Totally. I think I saw some at Old Navy one time and almost bought them. I should have.
I change my underwear on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays :)
i’ve been wondering this all day – why is underwear the choice of clothing to have the day, number or whatever…. do you really want someone to ask you what day it is and you have to pause – look down your pants – and then answer. that’s a really a lot more awkward than just saying, “i don’t know”
wear ‘em proud – wear ‘em loud. those of us with small bladders will be reminded quite frequently.
TMI, TMI!
Absolutely!!
Merry Christmas, Anne!!
hmmmm …. like others have said, it’s the whole laundry thing that challenges me. i can’t take the pressure to make sure Sunday would be clean in time for a new week — maybe i’d need 2 sets – or 3!
I thought about censoring my own comment… but then I figured this was a post full of TMI… so here goes… in the immortal words of Bart Simpson, “There’s nothing like an unfurnished basement for maximum comfort.” So… no, I probably wouldn’t wear them…
krisk….that’s why I need the 365-pack…wear’em and toss’em
as long as they get washed, sure!
I’d wear them, but mine would have room enough for the whole month if you know what I mean. Mmmuuuuaaaahhhhhaaaahhhaaa
I actually was online searching for remakes of the set I had back in the 80’s. That’s how I found your blog. Hmm… funny.
When we were young and even now there are no Sunday underwear in the package. Who knows why. Hanes are you out there to answer this?
